Alfred Wegener
(1880-1930)
Alfred Wegener, A Germen meteorologist, had a idea that the Earths surface is constantly changing as the continents drift around on top of a layer of molten rock, this is also known as Contintental Drift. Alfred Wegener introduced his ideas at the geologist Association in Frankford, but was denounced because Alfred didn't have a good enough explanation to how the continents moved back and forth, but Alfreds theory wasn't excepted 100 years later after his death.
